Jody W. Lai, MD

Jody White Lai, MD is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with active staff privileges at Hoag Memorial Presbyterian Hospital since 2007. Dr. Lai completed her residency training at University of California Irvine Medical Center and had the honor of being chosen chief resident in her final year. Dr. Lai has been in private practice in Newport Beach for over 6 years. She has always been attracted to the continuity of care women’s health offers and enjoys fostering relationships with women throughout all stages of their lives, guiding patients through contraceptive counseling, care during pregnancy, perimenopause, and menopause. Dr. Lai specializes in minimally invasive surgical techniques including operative hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, laparoscopic management of endometriosis, fibroids, and laparoscopic hysterectomy. In her free time Dr. Lai enjoys spending time with her husband and sons traveling and trying to improve their amateur ‘foodie’ status.
