After completing his fellowship training and prior to joining Memorial Care Medical Group, Dr. Roman was involved in shaping the next generation of physicians by serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Southern California. “In that role, I mentored trainees, interviewed medical school applicants, and served on scholarship award committees for both the undergraduate and medical school campuses. I also continue to contribute to physician education nationally by writing questions for the hematology board examination, helping ensure that practicing physicians and trainees remain grounded in evidence-based, up-to-date care. I believe that staying engaged in teaching and lifelong learning directly benefits the patients and community I serve.”
